Help if you're unemployed
WorkWise supports people who are unemployed by providing free travel to job interviews and travel to their new job.
Support is available to if you live in these wards
If you know your postcode - you can check which ward you live in - on the ONS website
If you are eligible for WorkWise you can get:
A one day travel pass for job interviews
A monthly travel pass for a new job
Passes are available for train, bus and tram, depending on where you need to travel.
If you find public transport difficult or confusing - we can make it simple by giving you a step-by-step guide and route plan.
8,800 one-day passes have already been provided to help people to travel to interviews and over 12,000 people have been helped with travelling to their new jobs.
